The album cover for Coldplay goes very well together with the poster. Both use black and white colours, and there is a feeling that they are both connected, all the members of the band are visible, and the interesting part is that they are positioned all in different distances away from the camera. For example, the lead singer is the one who is the closest to us, while the other band members, guitarists, drummer etc, are pushed behind, and it is harder to see them.
The Arctic Monkeys have opted for a very different approach, they've produced a very different album cover compared to the poster. They include no members from the band, but just one person smoking. The Arctic Monkeys have chosen to represent themselves as they are, without any effects, or graphic art on the cover.
Snow Patrol have used the same couple on the poster for their album art. They are connected and we can see this easily. They maintain very dark tones, with some skyline and sunlight at the top. The main colours are black, yellow/brown, and white.
